1 swamp rabbit (cane cutter)

Salt and pepper

1 can mushroom soup

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup cooking sherry

1 4-ounce can mushrooms, drained

Dash soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

Cut rabbit into frying-size pieces. Roll in flour, salt and pepper. Brown meat in hot oil. Place rabbit in casserole and cover with sauce made from remaining ingredients. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Serve with grits and hot biscuits.
