Sugar-free Apple Pie

4 large apples, peeled and sliced
1 double pie crust
6-ounces unsweetened apple juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Layer apple slices in pie crust. Mix together apple juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and cornstarch in a small saucepan, and cook on low heat until lightly thickened. Pour over apples and place second pie crust on top. Seal the edges, cut four slits in the top, and butter lightly. Bake one hour at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
