Corn Meal Dressing

3 cups chicken broth
2 large onions chopped
1 1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup flour
1 cup self-rising cornmeal
Salt and pepper to taste
Poultry seasoning
5 or 6 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup milk
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
sage to taste, optional
Place broth, onions and margarine in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. combine meal and flour and sprinkle, a little at a time, into broth mixture, stirring constantly. Add enough meal to make north the consistency of cornbread batter. Add celery and chicken soups and additional milk to maintain consistency. Add remaining ingredients, stirring constantly, while adding beaten eggs into mixture. Pour into medium-sized Pyrex dish and bake at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes or until brown.
