Ingredients
1 cup white Karo syrup
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 small can (5 ounce) evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Directions
Mix all ingredients and divide equally into two unbaked pie crusts. Bake at 320 degrees for about 30 minutes. When pies are firm and beginning to brown, turn off heat and let oven cool with pies inside.
