Low-fat Vegetable Soup

3 cups chopped or shredded cabbage
3 cups water
1 14 1/2-ounce can Italian stewed tomatoes
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 15-ounce can mixed vegetables
1 141/2-ounce can beef broth
1 103/4-ounce can cream of potato soup
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Combine cabbage and water in a soup pot. Cook until the cabbage is tender, but not mushy. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil again. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15-20 minutes.
