Sweet Potato-Pecan Pie

2 medium to large sweet potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
1/4 cup softened margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup Karo syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
1/4 cup bourbon
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 beaten eggs
2 cups pecans
2 deep-dish pie crusts, unbaked
Beat together all the ingredients except the pecans and pie crusts. Place once cup broken pecans into the bottom of each pie crust. Pour equal parts of mixture into pie crusts. Shake gent;y until pecans float. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until filling is set. Serve warm when possible, topping with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
