Grandma's Old-Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup half and half
1 cup heavy cream
Pinch of salt
Dot of butter
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Pie crusts (two):
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shortening
5-6 tablespoons cold water
Blend pie crust ingredients with a pastry blender until crumbs are coarse. Sprinkle with water; form dough. Roll crust 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick. Prepare filling: Mix sugar and flour. Add vanilla, cream, half and half and salt. Blend well. Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
