1 medium onion, diced
1 tomato, skinned and diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules (or two cubes)
2 teaspoons tabasco sauce
3 cups water
Collards (two bunches, depending on size)
Bring first six ingredients to a boil in large boiler. Add collards a few at a time, cooking till tender and adding more as they cook down. You may need more water, depending on how much juice you like.
