Ingredients
2/3 cup dried Italian croutons
1 cup milk
2 pounds ground chuck
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
6 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and 2 teaspoons dry mustard
Directions
Soak croutons in milk; add to meat and other ingredients. Shape into loaf and top with sauce. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
