1 15-ounce bag hash browns
16 ounces sour cream
1 10-ounce bag shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cups melted butter, divided
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups corn flaked, crushed
Mix together has browns, sour cream, cheese, soup, 1 cup of the butter, onion, salt and pepper. Spread this into a 9x13 baking dish. Mix remaining butter with corn flakes and sprinkle on top. Bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.
