Ingredients
3 eggs, divided
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon cup lemon juice
Grated rind of 1 lemon
Directions
Beat egg yolks. Add milk and butter. Mix sugar, flour, salt, lemon juice and rind. Add this mixture to yolk mixture. Beat egg whites until slightly stiff and fold into batter. Pour batter into a baking dish. Place dish in a pan of hot water. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
