Mexican Chicken Casserole

6 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
1 large bag Taco Doritos
1 cup grated cheese
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon garlic salt
Pour Doritos in a large bowl and pour chicken broth over them. Let them stand for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spray a large casserole dish with non-stick spray. Layer ingredients in the following order: 1/2 Doritos; 1/2 of the green pepper; 1/2 of the onion; 1/2 of the chicken; 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat layers and end with Doritos on top reserving last 1/3 of cheese. Mix together soup, tomatoes, garlic salt and chili powder. Pour over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle on remaining cheese and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
