Ice Box Fruit Cake

1 stick butter
30 large marshmallows
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 12-ounce box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 pound each candied red and green cherries
1 pound candied pineapple
1 quart nuts
2 cups coconut
Melt butter, marshmallows and milk over low heat. Add crushed vanilla wafers and cook until melted. Chop fruit and nuts and mix with coconut. Fold fruit and nuts into batter. Shape into a cake and freeze. Will keep in the refrigerator for several days.
