Turkey Tenderloin with Nutty Apple Rice

2 pounds turkey or pork tenderloin
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Nutty Apple Rice:
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup instant brown rice
5 ounces Pet Light Evaporated Skimmed Milk
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups apple cubes (Winesap, Rome or Jonathan)
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Combine all of the seasonings. With moistened hands, rub mixture evenly over the outside of the tenderloin. Place meat on rack broiler pan. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat until no longer pink and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, approximately 14 to 16 minutes, turning once. Serve with Nutty Apple Rice. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
Nutty Apple Rice:
In a medium saucepan, bring broth to boil over medium heat. Stir in rice, milk and spices. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
