Mandarin Orange Nut cake

1/2 cup Crisco shortening
2 sticks margarine
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs
3 1/4 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted and thawed
1 16-ounce can Mandarin orange slices, drained well
1 teaspoon rum flavoring
3/4 cup finely ground pecans
Cream shortening, margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with orange juice and mandarin orange slices. Add rum flavoring and pecans. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1/2 hours.
