2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 sweet green pepper, finely chopped
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 eggs
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon appel cider vinegar
1 tablespoon grated horseradish, optional
1 4-ounce jar sliced mushrooms, drained
Mix steak ingredients together and make into patties. Broil until browned on both sides and cooked through. You can also cook them in a pan over medium heat. To make gravy, brown flour in oil. Add milk and stir until thickened. Add salt, pepper, mustard, vinegar and horseradish. Stir until smooth. Add mushrooms and serve over hot steaks.
