|Our favorite family Holiday Tradition started more than forty years ago! My father, Jack Bean, (Baldwin Cooperative) loves to make divinity and so the tradition began along with my mother, Sarah. Every year we pick a family home and have "candy making." We currently have four generations making candy and baking cookies each December for a day/night-long celebration of food and family. It is our most fun and relaxed event of the entire year, as well as the most anticipated day other than Christmas itself. We make, bake and share all types of goodies and feast all day on delicious snacks. Fudge, pecan brittle, buckeyes, pralines, divinity and more make for one great tradition. Consider starting your family "candy making" this year!
