Ingredients
1 1/2 cups warm water, 1 tablespoon yeast, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 1/4 teaspoons salt, 4 cups all purpose flour 1/4 cup butter, 1 can pie filling. CRIPSP TOPPING: 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup oats, 2/3-3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1/3 cup butter softened, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add oil, salt and sugar. Stop in the flour until it is too stiff to stir with a spoon. Dump on floured surface and knead several times. Let rise until double in size. Roll out dough and place on pizza pan, lined with foil and lightly greased. Prick dough with fork. Brush with butter and let rise for about an hour. Spread pie filling on dough, and top with crisp topping. CRISP TOPPING: Mix all ingredients topping ingredients together; I use a fork to make it crumbly. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Note: to get a thinner crust, use 1/2- 3/4 of the dough.
