|Old Fashion Peanut Butter Roast|

|1 cup peanut butter
2/3 cup very hot water
1 can tomato soup
1 large onion
2 TBS butter
1 pack 1/4 box saltine cracker crumbs
pinch of celery salt or regular salt
|Mix peanut butter and hot water until smooth. Add tomato soup, saute onions in butter. Make crackers into crumbs with Rolling Pen. Mix all together and bake in loaf pan @ 325 for 1 hour.
This recipe has been used by my mom's family from the days of my great great grandma. They understood the benefits of a plant based diet way back then, and this was an effort to create a vegetarian main dish.
