Yeast Rolls

2 envelopes of dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/2 cups hot water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
4 to 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Combine the hot water, oil, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix in enough flour to make a sticky dough. Add the yeast and mix well. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Roll into small balls and place into greased muffin tin or on greased baking sheet. Let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 2 dozen rolls.
