Recipe : Entry # 7103
Georgia Hampton
Recipe Title
Mrs. Pucket's Punch
Recipe Theme
Drinks & Beverages
Sand Mountain EC
2 Large Cans Unsweetened Pineapple Juice
2 Cans Water
5 to 6 cups sugar, to taste
6 Packs Lemon-Lime or 7 Packs Cherry Kool-Aid
Two-Liter Bottle Ginger Ale
Combine first four ingredients and stir well. Put this mixture in the freezer until it becomes slushy, while will take a few hours. I have left mine overnight but it can completely freeze, thus more time for that to thaw if you're on a timeline. However, it won't hurt it to freeze solid. When you're ready to serve the punch, start stirring again and add the ginger ale until well combined. If you're using a punch bowl, pour half the punch and add half the ginger ale for an average size punch bowl. Of if you have a large enough container, you can mix it all at once and pour straight into the punch bowl. I have served this punch probably one hundred times and I always get compliments on how tart and thirst quenching it is. And you really don't even need any ice because it will be like drinking a slushy. Remember to stir, stir, stir. Serves 50 cups or two gallons.
