|Grandmas grandma's potato soup|

|2 pounds russet potatoes peeled and, chopped into 1 1/2 cubes
1/2 cup chopped onions,chopped 1/2 inch cube
1/2 - 1sticks butter
1 12oz can condensed milk, NOT SWEETEND condensed
Freshly cracked pepper
|Toss potatoes with onions,and flour. Add 1 teaspoon kosher salt., and 1/2 teaspoons pepper. Let stand about 10 minutes..
Melt butter in soup pot. Add potato/onion mixture. Stir to coat with butter.
Stir in water to cover potatoes. . Bring to boil.
Stir in 1 12 ounce cans condensed milk. Reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally for 25 to 30 minutes until potatoes are tender.
If consistency is too thin, mash potatoes with potato masher or cook until right consistency.
Adjust salt and pepper.
Serve immediately. I like it plain but can garnish with cheddar cheese,bacon,

|We all used to gather at grandma's for supper on Saturdays (usually about 12 people who still played table games).. This was always one of the favorite dishes.,easy to make and loved by all. Many of the decendants still eat potato soup and play board games--Remember those?
