|Butter Pecan Bars|

|1 box butter pecan cake mix
2 sticks margarine, softened
1 block (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1 (1 pound) box powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
|Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Combine cake mix, 1 stick margarine and 1 slightly beaten egg.,
Press into a greased and floured 9 x 13" baking pan.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the other stick of softened margarine, the other two eggs and the powdered sugar. Mix well.
Pour over cake mix layer. Top with pecans. Bake for one hour. Cool and cut into squares.

|I cut this recipe out of an unknown magazine. (I do this all the time!) I am always looking for something new to take to covered dish gatherings at my church. I like to make this recipe because it is simple .... and easy to make....and Delicious!|
