
Pioneer Days 2025 at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama, 248 U.S. Highway 231 North in Troy. Pioneer Days features two days of living history with demonstrations of traditional folk arts and crafts with the historic structures of the museum as a backdrop. Skilled artisans and craftsmen in period clothing demonstrate blacksmithing, wood working, candle dipping, rope making, spinning, weaving, quilting, Dutch oven cooking over an open fire at the chuck wagon, traditional music, military, Dutch oven cooking on a wood burning stove inside the Demonstration cabin, a school Marm, a circuit riding preacher in the log chapel, Native American cooking, and more.
