The Gumbo and Alabama Slammer Festival debuts at Heritage Park in Foley, Alabama, from 1o a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 28. Come enjoy gumbo and live music, including Sons of Bocephus, a tribute to Hank Williams Jr., at 10:30 a.m.; Fleetwood Max, the definitive Fleetwood Mac tribute, at 1:30 p.m.; and Randy McNeeley and Band at 4 p.m.
There will be food trucks, lots of gumbo options, kids' zone, contests for "event bucks," a large variety of vendors and alcoholic beverages. $5 entry with ages 12 and under free.
