Two days of living history at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama in Troy, including reenactments of the last two battles of the Creek War of 1836 that were fought in February and March of 1837 near Hobdy's Bridge on the Pea River in Pike County. Battles between militia and Native Americans will occur at 2pm each day. Skilled artisans and craftsmen dressed in period clothing will bring folk arts and crafts to life on the grounds of the museum during the two-day event.
