Thunder on the Three Notch features two days of living history as skilled artisans and craftsmen in period clothing demonstrate folk arts and crafts including blacksmithing, rope making, spinning, weaving, and more on the grounds of the Pioneer Museum of Alabama in Troy. The event features a reenactment of the last two battles of the Creek War of 1836 which took place at Hobdy's Bridge on the Pea River in Pike County during February and March of 1837.
