Bacon wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs finely chopped green or red bell pepper (red adds more color)
  • pack onions
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ½ cup brown sugar (sweetened to taste)

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Trim the ends of asparagus
  3. Divide out the asparagus into bundles and wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bundle
  4. (About 4 per bundle) Place the bundles in a shallow baking dish
  5. In a saucepan combine the butter, worcestershire sauce, sugar, and garlic salt and bring to a boil
  6. Using a spoon, pour over each bundle of bacon wrapped asparagus
  7. Place in preheated oven and cook 20-25 minutes
