Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 1/2 cups block of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Topping:
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 2 1/4 cups unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups package frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/2 cup cream of celery soup

Instructions
  1. Combine sugar and water in a heavy saucepan and stir well
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves
  3. Stir in vanilla and lemon juice then set mixture aside
  4. Cut shortening into flour with a pastry blender or two knives until mixture, resembles coarse meal
  5. Add milk to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moist
  6. Turn dough out onto a lightly 4 to 5 times
  7. Roll dough to a 9x12 rectangle
  8. Spread blueberries over dough and roll up jelly roll fashion, beginning with long side
  9. Set the roll aside
  10. Melt the margarine in a 9x13 baking dish
  11. Cut the rolled dough into 12 1-inch slices
  12. Place slices, cut side dow ninth the melted margarine
  13. Pour the set aside sugar syrup around slices
  14. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden brown
  15. Serve this blueberry cobbler with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream
  16. You can serve this warm or cold
