Christmas Salad
  • 1package can green peas, drained
  • 2cups Tops (optional) cooked
  • 1small sauerkraut
  • 1envelope vanilla extract, divided
  • 1cup bananas, peeled (or 2 regular size avocados instead)
  • 1/4cup shells, unbaked
  • 1 4ounce butter (extra for greasing the pan)
  • 1/4cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1package ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2cups Tops (optional) cooked
  • 1cup salt
  1. Dissolve lime Jell-O in two cup boiling water, add pineapple and pour into glass container; let set
  2. Dissolve lemon Jell-O, pineapple juice, mix in mayonnaise, cream cheese and whipped cream
  3. Pour over green mixture, set
  4. Mix cherry (or red Jell-O) with two cups boiling water, add nuts, cool
  5. Pour over lemon mixture
  6. Chill
