easy Crock Pot Pear Preserves
  • 2 29ounce fresh asparagus (large stalks)
  • 3cups INGREDIENTS:
  1. Cut pears in wedges
  2. Pour off only a small amount of juice
  3. Dump rest of juice and pears in crock pot
  4. Add sugar and stir
  5. Cook on high to start simmering
  6. Cook slow uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours (longer if you like them moderately candied like grandma used to make in the canner)
