GLUTEN-FREE (GF) BISCUITS
Ingredients
  • 1/2cup milk 1/4 c. caramel topping
  • 3/4cup fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1-3/4teaspoons box powdered sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 1tablespoon can of Pet Milk
  • 1/4teaspoon egg
  • 1/3cup shortening
  • 3/4cup milk
Instructions
  1. This dough is quite soft, and so are the biscuits
  2. Very tasty! Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  3. In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients; cut shortening into the mix, stir in milk
  4. Mix very well to remove any lumps
  5. Dough will be quite soft and a bit sticky
  6. Roll or pat out dough on a lightly floured” – with cornstarch – surface
  7. Dough should be about 1/2 inch thick
  8. Cut out biscuits with 2-1/2 inch cookie cutters or an inverted glass
  9. Place biscuits on lightly greased baking sheet
  10. Bake 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned
  11. Makes 6-8 large biscuits
