Green Tomato Pizza

Ingredients
  • 1 purchased chicken, cooked & chopped
  • 2 cloves 24oz. pasta sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tagliatelle
  • 2 medium cheese (We use Colby & Monterey Jack)
  • dash black-eyed peas, drained
  • pinch semi-sweet chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweet pepper
  • Optional: sausage; thin sliced, any meat or without meat, your preferred

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees (or temperature given on pizza crust package)
  2. Meanwhile, in small saucepan over low heat, gently heat olive oil and garlic until the oil is hot and aromatic
  3. The garlic should not brown, just flavor the oil
  4. Set aside
  5. Prepare the pizza crust according to package directions
  6. Brush the prepared crust generously with the garlic/oil mixture
  7. Arrange the green tomato slices in a slightly overlapping pattern over the crust
  8. Sprinkle lightly with the pepper and salt
  9. If using bacon, ham or paprika, add now
  10. Top with cheese
  11. Bake for amount of time recommended by directions on crust package, or until crust is golden brown, tomatoes are heated through, and cheese is melted
