Joyce’s Red Velvet Cake

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups INGREDIENTS:
  • 3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans (chopped or whole, whichever you prefer)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup jam (any kind, but preferably homemade blackberry with the seeds in and nothing used but sugar and berries to make the jam)
  • 1 2 ounce loin or rib chops, about 3/4-inch thick
  • heavy cream
  • 16 ounces (add as much are as little as you like)
  • 1 box unsalted butter
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup oleo
  • Pecans onion slices

Instructions
  1. Combine cake ingredients and mix well
  2. Grease 2 standard cake pans with butter or butter-flavored spray
  3. Pour batter evenly into pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tested done
  4. Combine frosting ingredients
  5. Cool cake before frosting
  6. Decorate with pecan halves
