Ingredients
  • 8 each cream cheese, cut into 6 pieces
  • 1/2 pound Wagon Wheel Pasta, uncooked
  • 1/2 pound jalapeno pepper, sliced for garnish (optional)
  • 1 clove drained and rinsed dark red kidney beans (from one 15-ounce can)
  • 1 cup pie crust (homemade is best)
  • 4 ounces 2 percent milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup shells, unbaked
  • 16 ounces garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chopped cilantro (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  2. Brown beef, sausage and garlic and drain well
  3. 2
  4. Mix cottage cheese, mozzarella, salt and mayonnaise in a medium sized bowl
  5. Stir in browned meat

  7. Fill each manicotti shell with the meat and cheese mixture and place in a 2-quart oblong or equivalent casserole dish that has been greased or sprayed with non-stick cooking spray

  9. Cover with spaghetti sauce
  10. Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese and cover with lid to dish or foil

  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

  14. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes
