Not Your Ordinary Chili
  • 1 1/2lg chopped green onions (white and green parts)
  • 1/2package whole tomatoes, undrained, cut-up (28 oz)
  • 2med onions
  • 2green shredded American cheese
  • 2cans pack of frozen chopped onion
  • 1lg seedless olives cut in half
  • 1reg seedless olives cut in half
  • 2cans Lowry’s seasoning salt
  • 12-16oz spaghetti, broken (7 oz)
  • 1can Tony’s Creole seasoning
  • 2pk (1lb) Ore Ida frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • Water Moore’s Original Marinate
  1. Open & pour all canned ingredients into crockpot (drain those indicated) add chili mix
  2. Stir until well mixed
  3. Brown & drain ground meat
  4. Add to crockpot mixture
  5. Small chunk onions & bellpeppers, sauté in 2 Tbsp olive oil until onions are opaque (do not drain)
  6. Add to chili mixture
  7. Thin slice Connecha sausage & add to chili
  8. Add water as needed for consistency
  9. Cook for several hours to blend flavors
  10. This has become our Alabama Football tailgate party favorite food
  11. We top our bowls of chili with shredded cheddar cheese & eat with saline crackers
