  • 19-20 small fruit preserves, any flavor (peach is good)
  • 1 quart chips:
  • 6 cups INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 tablespoon flour tortillas
  • 4 (2 1/2 inch) peeled and diced

Instructions
  1. Peel peaches, set aside
  2. Bring vinegar and sugar to a boil in Dutch oven, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes
  3. Place cloves in 6-inch square of cheese cloth
  4. Tie with string
  5. Add spice bag and cinnamon to vinegar mixture
  6. Add half of peaches and cook for 10 minutes
  7. Remove peaches with slotted spoon
  8. Repeat procedure with remaining peaches
  9. Bring syrup to a boil and remove from heat
  10. Add peaches, cover and let stand for 8 hours
  11. Remove peaches with slotted spoon and pack into hot jars
  12. Remove spice bag and cinnamon and discard
  13. Bring syrup to a boil, filling jars  to 1/2 inch of top
  14. Remove air bubbles
  15. Wipe jar rims and cover at once with metal lids, screw on bands
  16. Process in boiling water bath for 20 minutes
  17. Yield 3 quarts
