Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Cut bacon slices in half crosswise and place on rack of broiler pan (clean up is easier if you line the pan with foil)
  3. Cook bacon for approximately 10 minutes or until bacon begins to turn brown and slightly crisp
  4. Stir together the sugar, chili powder and pecans in a small bowl
  5. Sprinkle this mixture over the bacon slices and gently press down to adhere the mixture to the bacon
  6. Return bacon to oven for an additional 10 - 15 minutes
  7. Note: Praline Bacon can be made ahead and refrigerated
  8. Just reheat for a few minutes in a warm oven before serving
