Red Velvet Chess Squares
Ingredients
  • 1box day-old bread, crusts removed, cubed 1-inch
  • 1stick sweet potato patties
  • 4eggs, onion, diced
  • 1box unsalted butter
  • 1 8ounce cut into 1/2-inch thick strips
Instructions
  1. Combine cake mix, margarine and 1 egg
  2. Mixture will be consistency of cookie dough
  3. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch cake pan
  4. Cream powdered sugar, cream cheese and remaining 3 eggs
  5. Pour over crust and bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes
  6. Cool and cut into squares
