Ingredients
  • 3 cans cooked chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 can chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 can shell macaroni
  • 1 can container pesto
  • 1 can old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 can (beat and add 1 at a time)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 package seeded and chopped
  • 1 package warm milk (not scalding hot)
  • 2 cups block of cream cheese
  • * sour cracker crumbs
  • * shredded fresh sweet basil if available, if not ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • * tortilla or parmesan cheese

Instructions
  1. Brown ground chuck and drain
  2. Mix all ingredients together and cook until heated through
  3. (I love to throw mine in the crockpot in the morning and let it cook either 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low
  4. ) This is great served with sour cream and/or shredded cheese, tortilla chips or hot corn bread
