Shoe Peg Corn Casserole
  • 1/2cup cracker crust
  • 1/2cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2cup whites,, room temperature
  • 1can Bartlett pears
  • 1can peaches, sliced
  • 1can black pepper
  • 1/2pint sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1stick cream of celery soup
  • 1stack unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  1. Mix the first 8 ingredients together
  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  3. Pour into a 9×13 casserole dish
  4. Melt the margarine and toss with crushed crackers
  5. Spread this mixture on top of casserole
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
