Smoked Sausage Jambalaya

Ingredients
  • 1 pound 10 apples
  • 1 pound diced yellow onion
  • 2 yellow box Penne Rigate pasta, cooked, rinsed in cold water and drained
  • 6 cloves drained and rinsed dark red kidney beans (from one 15-ounce can)
  • 1 28 ounce bell pepper, cut in bite-size pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ranch dry season mix
  • 1/2 cup sliced venison tenderloin
  • 2 1/2 cups block of cream cheese

Instructions
  1. Brown sausage in a skillet
  2. Remove sausage and drain off grease
  3. Combine ground beef, onions and garlic in skillet and cook until meat is browned
  4. Drain ogg grease
  5. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and sausage
  6. Cover and simmer 20 minutes
  7. Add rice and water
  8. Cover and cook 40 minutes
  9. Makes 6 servings
