Strawberry Fig Jam
  • each quart of chopped pears, use:
  • 2 1/2cup INGREDIENTS:
  • 1large Vidalia onions
  1. Wash figs and put in a large enamel boiler
  2. Bring to boil and cook until soft
  3. Drain all water (use colander) and mash figs (you will need 3 cups mashed figs)
  4. To 3 cups mashed figs, stir in 2 1/2 cups sugar and one large box of strawberry Jell-O
  5. Mix well
  6. This will keep in refrigerator or you can seal in jars
