Summer Creole
  • 1cup bacon slices3 tablespoons lemon juice2 tablespoons brown sugar2 tablespoons Dijon mustard1 8-ounce can or sliced fresh mushrooms1 10-ounce package fresh spinac
  1. Combine all ingredients except rice, meat and seafood
  2. Cover and bring to a full boil
  3. Add rice and choice of meat, simmer for 40 minutes
  4. Seafood will need to be added the last 20 minutes
