Mama’s Cajun Pinto Beans & Rice

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Bag Pinto Beans(Wash & Soak Overnight)
  • 1 Bell Pepper( Color is Your Choice)
  • 1 Whole Onion
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • Dash Black Pepper
  • Chili Powder(To Taste)
  •  1 Cup Chopped Onions
  • Banana Pepper(Optional)
Instructions
  1. Cook Pinto beans until almost done.
  2. Add bell pepper & onion last 30 minutes (discard onion).
  3. Cook ground beef til brown, drain.
  4. Add chili powder to taste, chopped onions, banana pepper (chopped optional), & saute.
  5. Add to beans.
  6. Cook rice in separate pan til done.
  7. Put rice on plate, pour beans over rice.
