The Alabama Coastal BirdFest attracts visitors to coastal Alabama from across the states and Canada and has become a premier ecotourism event for the Gulf Coast. We have added several new trips and events, including a paddle excursion on Perch Creek, a walking tour of Mobile County’s Salt Aire, and even a “Wine with Birds” event to wrap up the four-day festival! We are going the extra distance this year to plan new trips and workshops that showcase the beauty and diversity of bird watching, and the flora and fauna that are abundant in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
Award-winning Alabama Living is the official statewide publication of the electric cooperatives in Alabama and the largest magazine of its type in the state, reaching some 400,000 electric cooperative consumers.
