Bacon Maple Cupcakes

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 large` eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 container white frostening
  • 3 tablespoons aunt jamima maple pancake syrup
  • 8 slices pre cooked bacon microwave (crisp, crumble, set aside)
  1. Pre heat oven on 325.
  2. Grease a 12 cup regular size cupcake pan.
  3. Mix cake mix, oil, eggs, and water in medium bowl. Beat 1 minute with mixer.
  4. Pour into pan,2/3 full. Bake on 325 degrees 20 minutes or until light brown.
  5. Cool 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile scrape out frosting into a bowl.
  7. Stir in syrup until well blended.
  8. Spread generously on cupcakes.
  9. Sprinkle with bacon.
  10. Lightly press down so it won’t fall off.
