Christmas Lasagna

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb mild sausage Dean’s
  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cannister Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  1. Brown ground beef and sausage in skillet. Drain.
  2. Add tomato sauce and oregano. Simmer.
  3. Mix eggs and cottage cheese in a separate bowl.
  4. In lasagna dish, layer half of the sauce from skillet, then noodles and all of the cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Top with the remainder of sauce from skillet and entire packet of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and layer it thick.
  7. Cover lasagna dish in aluminum foil and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
  8. Take lasagna out of oven and check. If bubbly, it is ready to serve!
